Brickfield seem to still be in the changing room as Chirk started strongly and it was no surprise when Louie Middlehurst was played in to put the away side ahead in the 5th minute.
On 30 minutes Brickfield got back into the game when referee Martin Williams awarded a controversial penalty which was dispatched away by Nicky Ward to level the game 1-1.
It was Chirk who looked more likely to score in a very entertaining game, with both teams played their part in an end to end game. Chirk were then awarded a penalty on 70 minutes after some heavy pressure on the Brickfield defence. However Matty Thomas's spot kick was brilliantly saved by Bricky man of the match Terry McCormick .
It was the proverbial sucker punch when the home side broke away straight after the penalty miss and went ahead through Danny Holland to put Brickfield ahead for the first this afternoon.
However Chirk were not to be beaten and leading scorer Matty Thomas made amends for his penalty miss with a late equaliser to give Chirk a share of the points.
