Bricky back to winning ways

Simon Sedgwicks Brickfield Rangers bounced back from last Saturday's disappointing loss at home to Chirk AAA with a comprehensive 5-3 away win at Cefn Albion.

Rangers with the returning Nathan Jones controlled the game from the off with Dale Davies and Sam Molyneux a constant threat to the home sides back line.

Then on 7" a wonderful cross from Phil Molyneux and knock down from Callum Humphreys was met by Dale Davies who fired Brickfield ahead. However just six minutes later the scores were level when a failed clearance was stabbed home by the hosts.

Brickfield though seemed well in control of the game and on 21" Phil Molyneux played in Sam Molyneux regaining the lead for Rangers.
Two minutes later it was 3-1 when Molyneux played in Dale Davies who expertly scored his second of the match.

On the stroke of half time it was 4-1 when Man of the Match Nathan Jones split the defence allowing Sam Molyneux to round the keeper to get his second of the game.

Skipper Steve Watkin was replaced on halftime after suffering a head injury early in the first half and the loss of his presence at the back was felt on 69" when Albion halfed the defecit when Rangers failed to deal with a corner.

Albion pressed the game but Rangers caught them on the counter and the move of the match was converted by Nathan Jones 3 minutes from time to make it 5-2.

There was still time for Albion to get one more on 89" when Rangers again failed to deal with a corner.
